Representing the Organizing Committee and the Chairman, we are pleased to announce that the 4th International Conference on Rail Transportation (ICRT 2027) will be held in Beijing. You are cordially invited to attend this conference, which is being organized following three successful editions previously held in Chengdu (2017, 2021) and Shanghai (2024). The ICRT 2027 is scheduled to take place from 19 to 21 August 2027. Participation is warmly encouraged for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts engaged in rail transportation technology.
The ICRT2027 is dedicated to providing an international platform for scientists, researchers, and engineers from around the globe to exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences in rail transportation planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance. The third International Conference on Rail Transportation (ICRT2024) represented a significant milestone in the field. Nearly 300 delegates attended the conference in person, while almost 10,000 scholars participated in the keynote sessions via the online platform. Participants engaged in the sharing and discussion of cutting-edge research outcomes, fostering the development of new perspectives and methodologies in rail transportation.
We have made steady and well-organized progress in preparing the scientific program of the conference, as well as the plenary keynote presentations covering various research topics. The conference has garnered widespread support from the international community. In response to numerous requests from prospective participants, the online abstract submission system will be accessible soon. It is note that all the scientists, researchers, and engineers in the rail transportation community are encouraged to participate the conference no matter whether your papers were accepted or not. The most innovative papers will be awarded for publication in the international Journal of Rail Transportation and Railway Engineering Science. All accepted papers will be electronically included in the conference proceedings (no requirement for the pages).
